Record Setting Lamborghini Countach

Throughout 2025, our client’s 1987 Lamborghini Countach 5000 QV spent the majority of its time in our Portland workshop undergoing an extensive, engine-out service in preparation for sale. The work included a new clutch, transmission reseal, valve adjustment, a comprehensive fuel system rebuild, complete ignition system service, replacement of all filters, a new water pump and battery, alternator rebuild, A/C system service, radiator rebuilds, and fitment of brand-new Pirelli P Zero tires—among many additional details.

This was one of the largest and most involved projects we’ve completed to date, and the result speaks volumes about the talent of our Portland service team—especially our lead technician, Chris Smith. One of just 610 Countach 5000 QVs produced, this example is finished in stunning Bianco Perlato over Rosso leather. We recently sold the car on Bring a Trailer for an outstanding $980,000, setting a new Countach record for the platform. Needless to say, the time, effort, and meticulous mechanical preparation proved well worth it.
